Mean Jean is a vintage inspired leather goods company based in Pioneertown, California.

Our products are primarily created using leathers produced in Tuscany, Italy by members of the Consorzio Vera Pelle, a group of tanneries committed to upholding the tradition of ethically and sustainably produced vegetable tanned leather. To find out more about the consortium please click here. Mean Jean is also known for custom stamping work which can be found on select products. The leathers used to create these items are also sustainably produced but the tanning process is performed in North America.
